It's our family tradition to select a new Christmas album each year (well, sometimes two or three). Our choices cover a wide range of music genres. Last year we enjoyed a bit of Irish/Celtic music with the purchase of And Winter Came and An Irish Christmas (definitely our favorite of the two). We also loved David Nevue's O Come Emmanuel cd which is a beautiful collection of solo piano pieces....perfect for those cold, wintry days when hot chocolate and a great book are irresistible.
This year I'm looking forward to enjoying Christmas Songs by Fernando Ortega. But, we'd love to hear about your favorite Christmas music and get some suggestions for some new music to try.
What Christmas cd is the first you reach for to start celebrating the season? Which cd (or more) is your absolute favorite, and you simply can't imagine enjoying this time of the year without it?
