It Is Not Death to Die - Sovereign Grace MusicMy uncle passed away this morning....here is a comforting reminder that it is not death to die. We are sad because he is no longer here with us, but we rejoice that he is free from his pain and misery and now with Jesus.
"It Is Not Death to Die"
It is not death to die
To leave this weary road
And join the saints who dwell on high
Who've found their home with God
It is not death to close
The eyes long dimmed by tears
And wake in joy before Your throne
Delivered from our fears
O Jesus, conquering the grave
Your precious blood has power to save
Those who trust in You
Will in Your mercy find
That it is not death to die
It is not death to fling
Aside this early dust
And rise with strong and noble wing
To live among the just
It is not death to hear
The key unlock the door
That sets us free from mortal years
To praise You evermore
O Jesus, conquering the grave
Your precious blood has power to save
Those who trust in You
Will in Your mercy find
That it is not death to die

The song is beautiful. I went ahead and bought it off Itunes.

Thank you so much Trisha for this beautiful post! That is a beautiful song...with such meaningful and encouraging words.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is very sad to think we will not see my dad any more here on this earth...but I am consoled by knowing he is, no doubt, enjoying the presence of Jesus and all that have preceded him!
Thank you again!
Love you,
Michele
Trish, thanks for the beautiful and
ReplyDeleteencouraging song. We were not ready
to lose him but our comfort is knowing he is in the arms of Jesus and now at peace.
And I'm so glad he no longer has to worry about making the hard decisions that were facing him. There will definitely be a hole in my heart knowing he will no longer be calling as say "just wanted to see if you are doing ok". He was a
good and caring man who loved the Lord and his church. He will be
truly missed.
Hugs, Auntie Marian
