That's so sweet! I'm reading the book "Sweet Journey" by Teri Maxwell. It's so wonderful. She talks about getting in the Word daily and also getting your children in the Word. That's one thing that I totally messed up with my girls. Now, I'm trying to fix that and it's really hard. Please teach them to start reading their Bibles daily, focusing on one chapter and picking out a verse that speaks to them. Have them write that verse down, explaining why they chose it and having them pray about it. Have them keep a special journal just for their Bible reading. I'm trying to implement this in our home now and I've got one fighting me on it. I'll just keep praying for God to change her heart. Have a blessed day!
That is so great! Is it no wonder Jesus invited the children to Him? They get it right far more than we know! Love the new pictures at the top of the page.
That's priceless right there! What a wise young lady that Ella is! Yep nobody wants to be empty-headed! Fill that head with the WORD so that it's too full to receive anything contrary!
"Each of us, every day, is standing under a Niagara of blessings..."
~Doug Wilson
"There is enough in God to fill our treasures, to replenish every hungry soul, to supply all our wants, to answer all our desires, to make us completely happy."
Ella said a whole lot more than she realized with that statement.
ReplyDeleteJust precious.
Blessings on your day!
