So I've decided to wear my blogging shoes again. The fit is a bit different this time, though.
There's not the discomfort that comes with having unrealistic expectations of posting a certain amount of time each week, even though I always had something to say. :)
As I can. When I can.
It was right and good to step away. It's what I was supposed to do at the time...stop completely, not just a bit. And in doing so, many things became clearer, and now, I can post here with a freedom that, in previous days, had started to slip away.
Much love,
Trisha
P.S. Here's Elijah now.

Yes. I'm sure you note that mine sometimes goes weeks without anything but the Congregational Prayer and maybe the Table Meditation.

ReplyDeleteWhen my mom moved in with me 5 months ago lots changed and I grab anything just when I can, including blogging time. I struggled at first, but everything is much easier now that I just do what I can without any guilt. Glad you've worked it out!
Welcome back!!
ReplyDeleteI just had a feeling yesterday, when I thought of you, that you would be blogging again soon! Glad to have you back and you have the right attitude now. Just blog when you have time or want to. That's what I do. There are no limits I don't think as to how often to blog. I have never understood how some find time to blog on a daily basis anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe new picture of your little guy is just precious!!

ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
I'm so happy you're back. I've been reading and gleaning for several months. You have been an encouragement to me! In particular, I'm reminded to be thankful and content in my circumstances.I've really appreciated your book reviews, too. I want to fill up on truth and you have great reading lists! I was afraid I would lose them! Thank you for sharing what the Lord teaches you. Blessings, Kim
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this current post on my list of blogs I read it took me a minute to realize who it was! Several times I've thought about contacting Ink to ask if your blog was private and if so could you please add me but then I thought I might sound too "stalker-ish" so I'd just leave it alone. ;o) So glad to see you blogging again. Remember, it's your blog for your enjoyment. No one else should dictate How, When or What you blog about, if they don't like it they can start their own blog! ;o)So there... LOL
ReplyDeleteAll of you have been so gracious and SO encouraging. Thank you! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Ashleigh, I see a bit of mischief in Elijah's eyes. :) I think he's saying, "I have my Mama wrapped around my finger."
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you back, Mrs Poff! :D I look forward to seeing more photos of you and your beautiful family. <><
ReplyDeleteI was happy to see you'd put on your blogging shoes. It sounds like you are going with a new, relaxed fit. I like that. Maybe even leave the laces untied if you'd like.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Okay, if I was a bettin' woman, I could have totally made a buck or two knowing you'd find your way back here. Glad you have found clarity in your purpose with this here blog and glad to see you up and running again, my friend!
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you from just the other side of the mountain.
Yay! I'm so glad you're back! And that little boy is adorable! I love his smile and his eyes! :)
ReplyDeleteTo the KING be all the glory!

ReplyDeleteJust in case you were wondering…I'm doing a happy dance! So glad to see you back! Smiles.
ReplyDeleteI am always a little slow to the party. So happy to see you back and the BABY, Oh, my!! Love those little chubby ones.
ReplyDeleteTrisha, Just wanted to say that I'm back to blogging again too (not a plug, you were just such an encouragement to me when I had to make some choices) And like you, the break was a needful thing for me. Schedules change and allow more freedom, but I definitely had to find the balance. I had not been over here in some time and am so happy to see you have another little one. How good God is!! Your children are beautiful as always. I look forward to visiting more often :)
