Please Pray for Luke

We covet your prayers for our sweet Luke!  He is in the hospital right now, having had a CT scan and been diagnosed with a severe infection that has spread to the area around his right eye socket...periorbital cellulitis.  There has been no confirmation that the infection is in the socket. His pain was quite severe early this morning, so he's been given some Morphine as well as high doses of antibiotics to battle the infection.  There is a concern that the infection might have been caused by MRSA (prounounced Mersa) , which only responds to one antibiotic.  Depending on how he responds to treatment, the doctors might have Luke get an MRI later.

You can google all of these terms to find out more if you desire.  Please pray:

~that he would respond well to the antibiotics
~that he would have a calm spirit, trusting in the LORD
~that this would not be a MRSA infection
~that his eye would not be permanently damaged in any way
~that Mountain Man would have strength and energy while having had so little sleep
~that we would be a witness to others that God is working all this for good
~for wisdom for the doctors and nurses

I know there are many more things to pray for, but my mind is a bit foggy right now.  I'm communicating this second-hand because Mountain Man had to take him to the hospital late last evening, and I've not been there, yet.   Forgive me if I end up having to make corrections with some of the information.  I will post more information as I know it.

God is so good, and how wonderful it is to praise Him while on the mountain top or in the valley.  Thank you so much for praying with us.
