What Does a Girl of Two Do?

Though many were lost because of a camera glitch, here are the ones we were able to save.  Just a lesson in holding on loosely to those photos while praying one's brain continues to be a good memory maker.

Just how does a girl of two spend her birthday?

She wakes up to lots of hugs and birthday wishes.

She eats her breakfast while listening to her siblings sing.

 She pauses for a bit of good literature.

She finds out Oreo Pie is on the menu and decides to make sure the Oreos are fresh.

Yes...declared fresh and most edible.

She enjoys eating from the special birthday plate.

 Homemade fettucine alfredo....the best recipe we've tried!

She thanks God for such handsome brothers,

and delightful siblings.

She raises her hands in a "Hooray for me!" pose (and "Mommy, this is awesome fettucine.")

She yawns at the thought of another picture being taken.

She dives right into the gifts..no explanation needed, and

then makes her siblings laugh uncontrollably as she tosses her gifts to the side with great disinterest.

 She contemplates being part of such a crazy unique family.

She enjoys a big slice of Oreo Pie with a "2" candle on top.

She makes everyone want to squeeze her and hug her and delight in every bit of her cuteness!

       Happy Birthday, Clairesy!  Truly you are a miracle and a testimony to God's protection and provision.  Never forget how God preserved Mommy's life and yours in such an amazing way while she was carrying you.  Remember the meaning of your name....
