God has blessed Michele with another couple of good days! Thank you so much for your prayers. Please keep interceding!
Praise the LORD, she hasn't had any mouth sores or nausea from the chemotherapy! She's just been feeling very tired today. Tomorrow she'll get her second dose before the stem cell transplant on Friday.
Specific requests in addition to the others mentioned in the last post are:
1) Michele's platelet count is only around 70,000. Normally, it would be about 150,000. Her numbers didn't go up as much as was expected after her previous round of chemotherapy. SO, there isn't a lot of "wiggle room" here. Once the count gets down to 15,000, she'll get additional platelets, but sometimes the body doesn't respond and the counts don't increase. Please pray that Michele's platelet count will increase dramatically and be in a healthy range.
2) Michele's kidneys are not processing everything as well as they should be. Please pray for increased function and the ability to get rid of the toxins like her body needs to.
3) Pray for strength and continued good health for David.
4) Pray for a blessed visit with her family.
"As prayer brings things to us which beget gratitude and thanksgiving, so praise and gratitude promote prayer, and induce more praying and better praying."
