They're Off

It's that time of year. The men have loaded up and headed out to shoot black powder guns and throw hawks and knives.

Reaches Up has been getting ready.

They had the loveliest send-off, pretty ladies waving good-bye.

Cap'n is counting the days until it's his turn.

For now, he'll enjoy being the center of attention.

While the men are doing all those manly things, we'll be tackling projects around the house, enjoying a book study, making play dough, and savoring some scones and tea.

With love,

Yup, I think Cap'n doesn't mind waiting a few years before he gets to go... lol!!

    Love you all!! Sarah

  4. I love it! Your men are black powder guys. My husband will do it someday. He loves to play with them when they come to our festivals in their attire... I just leave him there awhile, then pick him up when I'm done wandering. And the lovely ladies... Sheesh! Such a beautiful, beautiful family.

    Blessings, Debbie

  6. Trisha, your men are so very handsome, and your little women are most beautiful. Can I come over to play with the baby and to have some tea (with milk and sugar) and some scones too? I promise to be very very well behaved. :-)
