Tonight we sat around the table and shared with each other what we love about having Sarge in our family. The answers?
"chubby cheeks"
"his dimples"
"holding him"
"he's cuddly"
"the way his eyes light up when he sees you and you know he knows who you are"
"the reminder he is of God's goodness and mercy"
Before we know it, his fingerprints will be on the walls, and he'll be saying "Dada" and getting into his siblings' stuff. But for now, I'm thankful for every bit of babyhood that's still left, and I'm determined to savor every minute of it.

He is such a cute little guy. I have always thought it was so neat how babies instinctively know their mama from the moment they are born. When I was delivering Titus one of my nurses commented how God had programed every baby she had seen delivered to know it's mother from birth and what a miracle that is :)

I know, Hollie! It's so wonderful! And my husband is the one who mentioned how much it warms his heart to have Elijah recognize him and give him "that" look. It's something you never tire of, no matter how many times you've experienced it.

DeleteI think of you and your clan often, Trisha, and wonder just what you might be doing on a certain day. It reminds me of growing up in my large family and being the youngest. We never had a great deal of money but the love and fun we shared was amazing!
