"A sparkling, clean kitchen that stays that way is one that is probably rarely used."
Marmee Dear
Inspired by Marmee Dear's little e-book, "Kitchen Sparkle," I decided we would tackle a lot of deep cleaning in the kitchen to keep our minds off of missing our Mountain Men so much. I had the greatest of helpers..Little Bit, expert Counter Cleaner, Boo, the Greatest Cabinet Cleaner of All-Time, Whistler, Miss I'll-Clean-Those-Stove-Knobs-As -You've-Never-Seen-Before, and Reaches Up, Vacuum-Operator Extraordinaire. They worked diligently and enthusiastically. Whistler even exclaimed, "I love being in the kitchen doing a "sparkle." I'm going to do this with my family."
How sweet! It is so wonderful how when we make cleaning a big deal and make it exciting they really take it up as a big deal and want to do their best (at least that is the way it is in our family). Though I'm sure your children are always so eager and excited to do everything for their mother that they do their best. =D Cute picture with all the huge grins.
ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet! I like to clean the kitchen too! Whistler, that is a great and wonderful idea to do it with your famiy someday! It is nice to have fun cleaning!
ReplyDeleteWe missed our men too while they were away hunting! We are glad that they are back, and I am sure that you all will be very glad when your Mountain Men are back!
Lots of love to all of you wonderful cleaners!
Sarah

ReplyDeleteWhat a great job in cleaning your
ReplyDeletekitchen. I know you were a big help to your mom. I sure could use
all that help in my entire house.
Your mom is special the way she can encourage each of you to do a great job. I know the pudding was
delicious.
Love and miss each of you.
