Whistler just completed her first crocheting project, a baby blanket to give to Peep for Christmas.
Our dear friend and neighbor, Mrs. F., has been coming over weekly to give lessons, and we're very proud of Whistler's perserverance and hard work. Great job, sweet daughter!
Congratulations, Whistler! You did a great job. You'll have to teach us that pattern. Sadly though, now that the pictures have been posted, the surprise is out and Peep will know what she is getting for Christmas. :-) I know she will love it and I will love wrapping her up in it while she sleeps on a Sunday morning soon. Good job my sweet young friend! - Love Mrs. Spencer who can't remember her password to sign in to google. :-)
Great job Emma! I'm so proud of you for sticking with it. You picked some great colors. I know Claire will love the blanket and treasure it in years to come. =) You have such a sweet spirit Emma. I love you! ~Marissa
Emma, I am amazed!! Your blanket is absolutely beautiful, and that is NOT an easy pattern for a beginner. I did not learn to crochet until I was grown. Years ago, I crocheted all my Christmas gifts one year; (whew) that was an undertaking I'll never repeat.
Emma, congratulations on finishing the blanket for Claire. It is just beautiful. I'm so proud of you for continuing to crochet until it was done. I know that takes a long time. You will have to show me how to do that stitch. Love you, HUGS, Memaw
Emma, we are very proud of you, and we think it looks just wonderful. Peep will love it. We have a feeling, though, that you may need to consider buying yarn in bulk as we are willing to bet you're hooked on crocheting now. Of course, you realize you now have to decide who to make for next.....hmmm....how about me!! haha We love you!!
Whistler, What a beautiful blanket you have crocheted for Peep. How proud you must be.I am proud of you as well. I love you sweetness! Love, Aunt Catherine
Dear Emma, your blanket is very pretty. At first I thought that it was for the baby that your mom is pregnant with. I can't wait to come to your house on New Year's Eve!
Emma...you did a great job on learning to crochet and making a blanket for sweet Peep :) What a great sister you are :) I bet she will cherish that forever. I hope you enjoy many more projects to come. Keep up the good work sweet girl! Love, Michele :)
Dear Emma, I love your blanket so much.I have tried to crochet before but it was to hard for me.I am very proud of you.when you were working on it at church I was so surprised how fast you could go.I can not wait to go to your house on New Year's Eve
