We Could Have Danced All Night

Now, believe me, I never thought I would say such a thing.  I don't like to dance.  Plain and simple.

So, it was with much love for my best friend, Nicole, that I stepped out of my comfort zone last weekend and celebrated her 30th birthday...by dancing.

And, I'm so glad I did.  We had the most wonderful time!  Mountain Man was a fantastic partner, and I'm convinced that every one of our children should learn these dance steps.

My favorite?  The Virginia Reel.

Whistler came along to babysit Cap'n and ended up filling in as a much needed dance partner so the instructor could instruct. :)  What a sweet thing it was to see her dance with her Daddy!

  1. It looks like y'all had a wonderful time! Yay for country line dances!! The Virginia Reel is one of my favorites, along with the Post-es-gig (I don't really know how to spell that one).

  4. Loved the pics! Whistler is really a great picture taker! Give her my thanks. I'm so glad she came; she really made everything work out well, and the girls loved having her there!
Can't wait to do another dance! We're already planning a family dance next year!

    Love you,
    Nicole

PS Did you get my test in reply to your text? I just remember you didn't get my reply last time. Just wondering if I should always start a new one?

    Love you! Sarah
