24

I'm praising God for this wonderful milestone today...24 weeks! What a mercy it is to carry this precious life, to feel him move, to know that God has fashioned all of his days.

By this point in a pregnancy, many start to assume that one can't wait to get to the delivery. But I am thankful for each moment, desiring to hurry not one of them. Though I have known the joy of carrying many babies, God has only increased my wonder and gratitude with each precious one.

That He forms us. That He knows us. What a mercy!

"Before I could know thee, or aught else, thou hadst a care for me, and didst hide me away as a treasure till thou shouldst see fit to bring me to the light. Thus the Psalmist describes the intimacy which God had with him. In the most secret part--his reins, and in his most secret condition--yet unborn, he was under the control and guardianship of God."
~C.H. Spurgeon on Psalm 139

With love,
Trisha

    1. I've already noted that, my dear! :) To think that our babies will just be, by the grace of God, three months apart. What a wonder! I love you, too, and look forward to breaking bread with you very soon. :)
