This is June:
5 doctor's appointments
3 birthdays
1 scavenger hunt
3 special dinners
Disappearing Ink for 3 weeks
new roof
anniversary of my Dad's death
two dinner engagements with friends
husband preaching a sermon at church
Father's Day
homeschooling (we're not done until mid-July)
The verdict?
I'm very, very blessed.
And for some reason, a little tired and battling visions of day-long nap sessions.
And maybe this is why I've needed a bit more of this:
Anyone else have a hubby who will go to the store just for chocolate for you?

My hubby does that for me too! He's the best :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband does that for me with potato chips. He's the chocolate lover, so when he brings it home, he brings enough for two. I love Reese's peanut butter cups! Glad you are feeling well and that you have your son home again!
ReplyDeleteMine has been known to do that on occasion. They really do love us!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a vendor and brings home a truck of chocolate every day, except Wednesday. The truth is that I don't get anything off his truck though. That would be stealing, so I buy all my chocolate at Walmart.
ReplyDeleteDaughter, you make me laugh. Love your post. I do remember years ago your dad was stationed in Mass. (He was in the
ReplyDeleteAir Force) When I was expecting with David and had a craving for ice cream (We didn't have a car at the time). Your
dad would walk over a long bridge to a store and bring me home ice cream. Pretty sweet, huh.!!!!!!!

Oh I am laughing...yes, he will get up, at anytime day or night, and go get me some dark chocolate...a wonderful love gift from a husband
ReplyDeleteBlessings as you pass so many milestones this month!
This post makes me tired just thinking about everything you have done this month and yes mine would go out anytime of the day or night for chocolate or whatever I might have a hankering for...he is a blessing
ReplyDelete*smile* Just a few weeks ago, I had me some NM calabacitas for the first time, and yes, a full-blown craving ensued. My dear husband took me out for Mexican food two days in a row just so I could get me a second helping of them! You've got a good man there, Trisha!
