I've shared our basic frittata recipe that we often include on our breakfast menu. These sausage and egg muffins are similar and quite the favorite in our home. Enjoy!
1 lb ground sausage
1 onion, chopped
12 eggs, beaten
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Brown sausage and onion in skillet over medium heat; drain. Combine eggs and remaining four ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add sausage mixture and mix well. Spoon into greased muffin cups, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Makes 22.

Everyone likes a similar muffin here. These look yummy! Do you have a cooked breaky every day?
ReplyDeleteSweet Ruby,
DeleteI'd love to hear your voice! :) Yes, we do have a cooked breakfast most every day. I do serve cereal, though, especially on those mornings when we've gotten a late start. Love to you!
Maybe not :-( I have a very flat Aussie accent.
ReplyDeleteYou are good to get up and cook each morning as my dear mother always did. Also you have cold weather which makes it nice to eat warm food. We are cereal and toast people :-)
Yummy!
