A Beautiful Gift, A Spiritual Legacy

This is one of the most treasured gifts that my Beloved gave me for Christmas. I've wanted one for quite some time, but these Bibles are quite expensive. This is a Cambridge Bible with a goatskin leather cover, and it's simply beautiful to look at and is very well made.


The margins are intentionally wide so that you have ample room for note taking, and there is no commentary.

In the back of the Bible you'll find lined journaling pages (pictured below) to record Scripture verses, prayers, etc. and an "index to notes" in which you can reference the notes you've taken in the margins of the Bible.

It is my hope that this beautiful Bible won't be so "perfect" looking for long. I would love for all of our children to be able to look through this Bible and read Mom's favorite verses, sermon notes, and even prayers, getting a picture of my struggles, my joys, and all the many great things that God has done in my life and has taught me.

This is a treasure of a Bible, and I highly recommend it. Just remember...having a new Bible won't make us study His Word any more than before...just like buying a new workout DVD won't make us suddenly exercise regularly. That's where self-discipline comes in, and the fervent prayer that God would give us a passion for being in His Word.
