Luke is being released from the hospital today! We're so relieved that he won't require a pic line at this time but will instead be on oral antibiotics. Because of the type of bacteria growing on the cultures, these antibiotics are VERY strong, so please pray that Luke will tolerate them well. We'll know soon enough if the antibiotics are not working because his eye symptoms would start to return.
We're praising God for the blessing of being together again as a family and getting the rest everyone desperately needs. Thank you so much for all of your prayers thus far. Please continue as Luke is not completely over this illness.

Praise God! I'm so glad you're able to come home. Hospital life can be so exhausting. You're in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you're all able to sleep and that God will renew your energy.

Yay for Luke coming home!! I will continue to pray for his quick recovery and that the antibiotics will completely heal the infection!! Get some rest and enjoy being reunited...

Praise the Lord! My children having been remembering him every night. I pray for him often throughout the day! I will pray that the antibiotics will work and not make his tummy ill (we always have to eat lots of yogurt).
