Because, God willing, we'll need a name in September!
Thank you in advance for your prayers. This first month has seen a few sleepless nights as my soul has refused to be comforted while bound with fear, much opportunity for prayer, and overflowing gratitude for each moment this baby is with us.
I'm simply humbled by God's mercy.
With love,
Trisha
***To my dear friends whose hearts are still longing for a baby...I don't have words. Please know I pray for you, one by one, even those who have never left a comment, but who I know are struggling with infertility. Thank you for your continuing encouragement to my heart in the midst of your heartache.
Praying for you, may God give you much peace

I'm so happy for you, Trisha!!! Praying for you and your wee one.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm so happy for you...I wrote much on my blog after our loss and then becoming pregnant this time.
ReplyDeleteThere is something unique about pregnancy after loss which remains somehow present in your soul to some extent..
Losing a baby after the "safe" period had me questioning so much of what I should have been trusting through..
Nevertheless, God is faithful and understands our shortcomings of faith. He saw me through many tears..many middle of the night pleads, etc. I don't know what the future holds, but being pregnant at 20 weeks (due in June) with our 7th to-be-born child, is a gift for today.
God Bless you friend, and I will be praying. I am so happy for your September gift! My Oliver was a Labor Day gift in 2010..what a lovely time for a baby..as is all the time!
Rejoicing with you my precious friend. And, of course, praying for you. You are loved. And the ONE Who gives life loves you MOST!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Camille XO
Isaiah 26:3-4 (How I LOVE these verses!)
This is such wonderful news and I am rejoicing with you and your family! I will be in prayer.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Sandy
You don't need a book. Gregory is a good masculine and biblical name. You may use it if you like! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone, for your prayers and kind words and encouragement. I thank God for each of you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations my friend...praying that all goes well...
ReplyDeleteMelinda
Congratulations!! How far along are you, and how are you feeling? My curious side is wondering how old you are? My good friend just had baby number 10 at age 42. She is doing well!! Not saying that you look anywhere near 42, but just wondering, as you already have 8 children. I have 7 and I am almost 39. I love babies, and just think the more the merrier!
ReplyDeleteLove Lisa
