Ink thinks calling someone a "Bovine-face" would be an insult. I'm not so sure. I love these faces. And how good God is to give us so much drive-by beauty. Yours might not include cows or antelope, but I'm sure there's something lovely along the way that calls for standing and staring. Don't miss it!
"A poor life this, if full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare."
~W.H. Davies

There are some Holsteins in a field outside where we live, and I've been dying to have a photo session with them, using black and white. My husband thinks the farmer might not like me hanging around his cattle.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a farm girl. We had cows when I was a young girl, and I still love them. My brothers even named even named one of the new calves after me, Rosie. I was offended at the time, but I quite like it now. We live back in Wisconsin in cow country, and I always greet them when I drive by. They love to be spoken to!
ReplyDeleteHow now brown cow.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful!
They are beautiful. And while cow face may not be much of a compliment, having "cow eyes" sure would be :)
ReplyDeleteThey have such beautiful, soft, intelligent eyes!
ReplyDeleteLove to All,
Cousin Patty
Trisha,
ReplyDeleteLove the quote, oh to stare and remember His works.
Have a wonderful day, Friend,
Jojo
Beautiful. I would love to go hug on one of those little ones.
ReplyDeleteLove you
Have a Happy Wednesday.
ooooo...nasty stuff. "Bovine-face!" :-)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say that is the worst I have heard here! Love them cows! Of course, kangaroo and koala eyes are very sweet too. No, I have never heard mine call anyone a "koala-face" either except if they are talking about cuteness and cuddliness.
