Because they'll come in handy in helping hide scar #2! Yes, my biopsy results were positive for skin cancer. I'm still waiting to talk with the doctor about what we do from here, but I just know it's gonna involve sharp objects, pain, stitches, pain, potential infection, a scar, and pain. Did I mention pain?:)
In this case, I'm not sure if there's great value in knowing what I'm in for! (But,the great news is that the nurse was able to remove the several strands of hair that had been sewn in together with the stitch!)
So, I can fret and obsess over things to come (and that is a very tempting option) or I can praise the One from whose hand this has come, for His lovingkindness is better than life. (Psalm 63:3) It's just another opportunity to die to self and trust Him more.
"The moment that you think of nothing save God's will you will cease to fear, and there will be no hindrance in your way. Cast aside all earthly impulses, and so doing, you will spare yourself much inward anxiety and much outward indiscretion." ~Fenelon

I hurt for you, dear daughter, knowing that you will be going through another procedure. I'm also praying for you. If I could take it on myself, I would gladly to it. I know your faith in God will see you through. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Wish I could be there, but right now it's not meant to be.
ReplyDeleteLove & Prayers,
MOM
I'll be praying for you and I'm so sorry you have to go thru this again. It's comforting to know that God is in control and loves you more then anyone. He will take care of you and provide you the strength and encouragement to get thru this. I wish I could be there to help you.
ReplyDeleteLove you, Auntie Marian
