What a way to start the day! Move the outside trash can. Find rattlesnake. Get big blunt instruments. Kill rattlesnake. The end. :)
Rattlesnakes are just a part of desert life, but we prefer not to let them have their freedom on our property. And, unfortunately, just "moving" them to the field next door isn't a good solution either. So, when we find one, it always means death, cause them Littles are just too precious!
Here are Scribe and Little Big Man, aka "The Snake Handlers," taking down this venemous fella. They even managed to cut off the rattler to use with their Mountain Man stuff.
Oh,my, Snake Handlers, this is just too much for this city gal. I would be running into the house screaming "help, help"!! You guys are so brave. I can't even stand seeing a frog on my porch.
ReplyDeleteLove you all, Auntie Marian
Snake Handlers, you are so brave. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near
ReplyDeletea snake. It's great you want to protect the littles from being hurt by that pest. Proud of you.!!

YEAH!!!! The snake handlers are the good, but the snake KILLERS are the best!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! Dear Queen Mum, thank you for the warning, too. I scrolled right down with my eyes closed and then scrolled back up to post a comment! Just remember what it says in Genesis - enmity between the serpent and the woman - the SON will crush it's head. I take that literally, thank you, and I have no qualms about promoting that kind of theology around my place. Hugs to you all!! the herd
ReplyDeleteGO SNAKE HANDLERS!! THAT SNAKE LOOKED FIERCE, BUT YOU GUYS SHOWED NO FEAR! AND THEN YOU CUT OFF THE RATTLER TO USE WITH YOUR MOUNTAIN MAN STUFF! THAT IS VERY IMPRESSIVE.
ReplyDeleteLOVE, AUNT CATHERINE
